Northern sayings that aren't used in the south?

I was just having a conversation with my friend who's from the south and she gave me a GIANT list of southern sayings that the north doesn't use. ( if wishes were horses then beggars would ride, wear out, pick at, Jack-leg) And I was honestly wondering if anyone could think of any sayings that individuals in New England, or just the north in general use, but the south does not. I'd life a few, if you could find them. Thanks!
