Why do stoners seem to have some sort of compulsion to always let the world and everyone around them know...?

I know what you mean, it's really annoying. When I was younger, I used to toke, but I was the quiet type who never let anyone know I did. I just didn't like anyone knowing my business. I wish more people were like that.
